Newborn portraiture by LWP captures the new relationship between your new family dynamic in a lifestyle setting within the comfort of your own home.
Our newborn sessions are natural and organic and aim to capture the sweet little details of your new baby and the new relationship you have together! A newborn session can be a mixture of posed newborn photos with natural feel and or a lifestyle session. I will bring along my posing pod for those sweet posed shots and a few other things such as hats, headbands, wraps and comfy items to wrap baby in. You can also add on a lifestyle photos with mom, dad, and siblings please see my investment page for more details. Most of my props and wraps that I bring with me to your session in neutral colors, tones and textures. I do "baby-led posing", which means baby will only ever be posed in comfortable positions with props or nestled in your arms. Newborn sessions will typically take place within 5 - 12 days of baby's birth. Please message me for more details and to reserve your session month.

At each newborn session, I have a variety of headbands, hats and blanket backdrops to choose from, I mainly shoot on white or neutral backdrops as they are timeless! When you book with me, I'll be sure to send you a prep-guide that explains more of what to expect at your session, ways to prepare for your session and styling suggestions for your family! Most sessions take up to three to four weeks to return the final gallery and each session comes with a full online digital download gallery for you to download your images, it's very easy to do! You may print your images anywhere you choose or you can order from my professional lab.
I have recently moved from Prince George BC and relocated to Penticton British Columbia and I love it here. I will travel to you for Newborn and Maternity sessions and will work from Kelowna to Osoyoos British Columbia, a small travel fee is applied outside of the Penticton area. I have been specializing in Newborn and Maternity portraiture for over eight years now and it is one of my favorite sessions to photograph. I'm excited to go outdoors for some newborn and maternity sessions here in Penticton, Kelowna and the whole Okanagan as there are so many beautiful places to shoot outdoors such as wineries, orchards, rivers, lakes, and farms! I love that we get all the seasons here in the Okanagan with a milder winter so we can do more photography sessions outdoors all year long! In PG that was limited due to five months of winter and temperatures as low as minus forty degrees celcius in January and February!
